With its striking gothic facade is one of the dominant features of the Old Town Square. The composition of this Gothic facade with its sculptural and painted ornamentation indicates that it was erected by a member of the royal court, possibly under the direction of Queen Eliška Přemyslovna. The first mention of the name U kamenného zvonu comes from the year 1417, and it probably stems from the stone bell that is still preserved on the quoin to this day. Today, the U kamenného zvonu palace, with its remarkably attractive Concert Hall and Gothic vaults, invites one to organise festive events in the same peaceful spirit.
