Is located in Prague's Old Town, on the corner of Štupartská and Jakubská streets, together with the Church of St. Jacob, alluded to as early as the twelfth century. The monastery and church are among the most interesting historical monuments in Prague, where architectural styles from Gothic to High Baroque intermingle. In the year 1311, the coronation of John of Luxembourg as King of Bohemia took place in the monastery, as did his marriage to Eliška Premyslovna, the mother of Charles IV. These important events took place in the Coronation Hall and the John of Luxembourg Hall, which have now been reconstructed and are ready to offer their inimitable charm for your own social events.
